"From One Truck to a Family Legacy"

HOW IT STARTED:
Since Tyler was a kid, he had always talked about owning his own trucking company. He started his over the road career at the age of 18, hauling cattle for a small family-owned company in Nimrod, MN. Learning the ropes and figuring things out one load at a time. Even through the long nights & countless miles of driving for someone else, he never let go of his dream of owning his own semi one day. In fact, it pushed him to work harder to make that dream come true.
In 2016, Tyler bought his first Peterbilt, known to us as "Henry". That’s when the real journey began.... long nights and countless miles were part of the routine, and every day on the road brought new challenges and lessons. Every mile taught him something new. There wasn’t a big plan or anyone guiding him along the way. Just a lot of drive, a love for the work, and the hope that maybe, someday, it could turn into something more. And slowly, that’s exactly what happened!

THE ROAD TO GROWTH:
After those first long days behind the wheel, it didn’t take long for the dream to start growing. Word got out, the miles added up, and one truck turned into two… then three… and before long, what started as one guy doing it all became something bigger.

But growth didn’t come easy. It took a lot of sacrifice, long hours, and learning the ropes the hard way. There were times when the phone didn’t stop ringing, trucks broke down at the worst possible moment, and the work seemed never-ending — but quitting was never on the table. As the company grew, Tyler wasn’t doing it alone anymore. Trisha became pregnant with their first son and decided to step away from her career to be home with him and help carry the load behind the scenes with Ament Trucking. Handling things in the office, keeping things organized, and making sure the business side kept up with what was happening on the road. Together, they pushed the company forward, balancing family life and work life the best way they knew how with Trisha and Braxton at home, and Tyler still full time over the road.

Over time, they built a team of drivers who shared their work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way. People who didn’t mind getting their hands dirty and understood the responsibility that comes with running freight. Together, they kept the wheels turning and the company moving forward. And even as the business grew, the heart behind it stayed the same: work hard, treat people right, and build something that lasts.

WHERE WE ARE NOW:
Today, the company looks a little different than it did in those early days of one truck and one driver. The fleet has grown, the team has expanded, and the dream that started small has turned into a business that keeps moving forward. We’re proud to run a company that’s still family-owned and operated, with Tyler leading the charge in the office and shop, and Trisha keeping things on track behind the scenes.

Alongside us, we’ve built a team we can count on — from the help in the office that keeps the business running smoothly to the hardworking crew in the shop who keep our trucks on the road. And of course, our drivers who are the heartbeat of this company. They’re the ones putting in the miles, making the deliveries, and sacrificing time away from home to help carry this dream forward. Without them, none of this would be possible.

Even as we grow, we’re committed to staying true to what got us here: honesty, hard work, and treating people right. At the end of the day, this business isn’t just about freight — it’s about family, legacy, and the pride of building something real.
